5 New Bloggers for Your RSS Reader

Several months ago, I mentioned that I would be making a monthly list of bloggers that I recommend you follow. Unfortunately, I got busy with a few projects and never got around to doing this more than twice. However, as my list of great blogs is ever growing, I wanted to take the time to toss a few more on the list.

There isn’t a rhyme or reason why I’m including these particular 5 together, but I definitely think that there is a lot you can learn from each.

  1. David Risley – 6 Figure Blogger. David is a blogger in Tampa, FL and has a great website full of information for both the new and experienced blogger. I can’t remember how I found his blog, but I’ve been visiting it ever since. I’ve even been fortunate enough to land a few guest posts over there. Great blog for learning about how to make money as a blogger.
  2. Perry Marshall – This guy has one of the best, if not the best, newsletters around. He sends out a lot of content, but the keyword is “content.” He may sell his own stuff (which I’ve heard is quite good) from time to time, but I’ve never grown tired of his approach. If you want to learn about business, business philosophy, or AdWords, then Perry is the guy to learn from.
  3. Karl Staib – Work Happy Now. This is a fun blog to visit and Karl is really doing a great job of keeping his content fresh and upbeat. If you want to learn how to become more happy at your job or make your employees happier, you need to read this blog.
  4. Shama Hyder – Click to Client and Shama.TV. I found out about Shama after she sent me a nice auto reply on Twitter. The thing that got me interested was that even though it was an auto-DM, she still had a nice angle. I watched a few of her videos and purchased her Zen of Social Media ebook and have been very impressed. She is a social media and web development expert and you need to check out her stuff.
  5. Chris Garrett – Chris is an underrated blogger that writes about Internet Marketing and Blogging as a business. He’s got a unique business minded philosophy that has helped him create a personal brand that is professional and innovative. You won’t find content like his anywhere else.

Well, that about wraps up this installment. I hope to get back on a better schedule next month, but you never know :)

  • Anytime! I really like what you are doing and thought your guide was great. I think it is important to show the positive side of the online experience so that people don't become overwhelmed with the junk. I also appreciate the fact that you practice what you preach...far too many do not :)
