About Me

I want to thank you for visiting my blog and deciding to learn a little bit more about me. I try to be as approachable as possible, which means replying to every comment and every email. Sometimes I don’t make it though, so just in case I forget you can contact me here:
nathan@nathanhangen.com
I’ll be more than happy to get back to you as soon as time allows. You can also find me on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
Although recently I found myself in Afghanistan, deployed with the U.S. Army, I believe that being a solider is just a tiny portion of my overall contribution to the world.
I pride myself on my creative talent, particularly when it comes to creating print or multimedia content. I’ve been good with a PC since they were invented, and as such I’ve ventured into the realms of SEO, PPC, Affiliate Marketing, Media, and Publishing. For the most part though, I consider myself a Renaissance Man, a serial entrepreneur, and a futurist. My focus is to help you break through the boundaries set by others so that you can live a life that you design…gatekeepers be damned. I dig technology, helping people turn their business ideas into money making ventures, and learning how experience life to the fullest.
I manage this blog, Making it Social, Live the Dharma (my Zen/Buddhist side), and the Triathlon Man. I’ve written guest posts for Twitip, Copyblogger, Problogger, and DavidRisley.com as well.
I’ve recently release my Authoritative Guide to Twitter for Businesses and Brands, called Twitter Rockstar, an advanced Twitter guide called The Twitter Marketing Manifesto, and I’ve also released a new line of guides I like to call “The Webrepreneur’s Guides,” which feature a variety of business and internet marketing tips and information.
Oh, and you might have heard about a book I co-authored with Mike Cliffe-Jones, called Beyond Blogging. It’s a big deal for me, and I’m really proud of it. You can check it out here.
This site isn’t really about me as much as it is about you. I want to teach you how to break free of fear and take control of your life. I want to teach you how to live your passion and make the most of each and every day. I hope you hang around for the journey.
