Help Me Help Jack

Recently, a friend of mine told me the story about a local vet that has been diagnosed with two malignant tumors and unfortunately has no health insurance to pay the costs. As a result, he has decided to host a benefit run here in Fayetteville, NC on June 14th, 2008 to coincide with a poker run the same day. What I am asking, is for your generosity in helping me contribute to the cost of Jack’s medical bills. The overall goal on our part is $2,000 and I am hoping to raise a minimum of $250 towards that goal. If you are interested, I have made it easy to donate via a link on the top of the page and on the left sidebar. You can also sponsor me per mile. I will be running in the race, and plan on running the entire 4 hours (I estimate 20-30 miles ran depending on the heat) and would love to run on your behalf.
