Project Update: Working on Galt’s Gulch
This has been an exciting week for me. I’m getting very close to pre-launch on two awesome projects, and I was featured in a few great interviews recently that I think you’ll enjoy.
Interviews
The first interview was done via email by John of Jet Set Citizen, and I can’t stress enough how thankful I am for his patience in waiting for the answers.
He asked some great questions, and I don’t think I’ve answered any like them until now. Oh, and ignore that part about superstar marketer…I’m not there yet
The second was done a month or so ago by my friend Susan Baker, also known as the Escape Hatcher. Susan and I met on Twitter (I think) and just hit it off. She’s an awesome person and an inspiring entrepreneur.
I interviewed her months ago, and she promised to bring me on to the Escape Podcast. Our interview was only supposed to be 30 minutes, but she was asking such great questions and we were having such a great talk that we finished in just under 60 minutes.
Like John’s interview above, she hit me with some great questions that I hadn’t had anywhere else, so check it out and let me know what you think.
The Empire is Growing
Today is also a big day because I’m finally able to talk about a few projects I’ve been working on behind the scenes. These were “hush hush” until now, but since we’re close to moving into pre-launch, I thought I’d let you take a peek.
Let’s just call this phase “pre-pre-launch.”
Blogger Beats
Oleg Mokhov and I have been working on this one for quite some time. I’m a huge fan of his music mixes (which include original tunes) and was dying to find a way for him and I to work together. I think we found it.
If you enjoy my podcast and/or Mokhov Mixes, then you’re going to love this.
Blogger Beats is going to open up soon, so take a look and make sure to tell your friends about it. We’re going to be offering some cool bonuses during the launch, so stay tuned!
Roark Media
I met Rich Lazzara in Las Vegas during Blogworld 2009. In fact, I think it was David Risley that introduced us.
We hit it off pretty well and spent the rest of the week talking about business. I knew instantly that this guy was a die-hard entrepreneur with some big ideas, so of course we had to find a project to work on.
Roark Media is the result.
Why Roark? Well, Howard Roark (The Fountainhead) is one of my favorite protagonists of all time. Empowered individuals make the world a better place, and our vision at Roark is to empower small businesses to achieve their highest goal so that they can help the world achieve theirs.
The triumph of the individual returns…embodied in Roark Media.
Our first product, which is called Silo, will be launched very soon. Stay tuned!
